50.16% (+4.14% 1wk)

Status: Neutral Environment

The US Total Percentage of Stocks above their 50 Day, 150 Day & 200 Day Moving Averages (shown above) increased by +4.14% this week.

Therefore, the overall combined average is at 50.16% in the US market (NYSE and Nasdaq markets combined) above their short, medium and long term moving averages.

The combined average rebounded this week, after initially dropping below its 50 day MA on Tuesday, and is now only -0.72% below its short-term 20 day MA, and improved to +4.11% above its 50 day MA (signal line). Hence the status remains on a Neutral Environment status (as its between the moving averages), but a close above 52% could turn it positive again.

The Point and Figure (P&F) chart (shown above) was unchanged in its current column of Os this week. So the P&F strategy remains on Defense (as it is in a column of Os).

To reverse back to a column of Xs (Offense), it would need to close above the 52% level currently.

See the Bullish Percent article for more information on the P&F statuses.
