  • 6 sectors in (Strong) Stage 2 zone (Basic Materials, Energy, Financials, Industrials, Utilities, Real Estate)
  • 5 sectors in (Neutral) Stage 1 / 3 zone (Consumer Staples, Consumer Discretionary, Technology, Health Care, Communication Services)
  • 0 sectors in (Weak) Stage 4 zone

Sample Size: 5033 stocks

The percentage of US stocks above their 150 day moving averages in the 11 major sectors increased by +3.08% since the previous post on the 25th March 2024, moving the overall average to 63.10%, which is the Strong zone (60%+ range).

Sector changes: The sectors in the Stage 2 zone (Strong – above 60%) was unchanged at 6. The sectors in the Stage 1 / 3 zone (Neutral – 40% to 60% range) was unchanged at 5, and the number of sectors in the Stage 4 zone (Weak – below 40%) was unchanged at Zero.
