  • 6 sectors in Stage 2 zone (Energy, Industrials, Financials, Real Estate, Technology, Consumer Discretionary)
  • 4 sectors in Stage 1 / 3 zone (Basic Materials, Utilities, Consumer Staples, Communication Services)
  • 1 sector in Stage 4 zone (Health Care)

Sample Size: 5171 stocks

The Percentage of US Stocks Above Their 150 day Moving Averages in the 11 major sectors has improved by +5.59% over the last few weeks since the previous post on the 17th July 2023, moving the overall average up to 59.38%, which is at the top of the Neutral+ zone / borderline of the Bullish zone, with the majority of sectors in the Stage 2 zone (above 60%).

Sector changes: The sectors in the Stage 2 zone (Above 60%) increased from 3 to 6. The sectors in the Stage 1 / 3 zone (40% to 60% range) decreased from 7 to 4, and the number of sectors in the Stage 4 zone (Below 40%) was unchanged at 1.
