  • 3 sectors in (Strong) Stage 2 zone (Financials, Industrials, Real Estate)
  • 8 sectors in (Neutral) Stage 1 / 3 zone (Technology, Consumer Discretionary, Communication Services, Health Care, Consumer Staples, Basic Materials), Energy, Utilities)
  • 0 sectors in (Weak) Stage 4 zone

Sample Size: 5074 stocks

The percentage of US stocks above their 150 day moving averages in the 11 major sectors increased by +7.28% since the previous post on the 5th February 2024, moving the overall average to 54.69%, which is in the Neutral+ zone (50% to 59.99% range).

Sector changes: The sectors in the Stage 2 zone (Strong – above 60%) increased from 2 to 3. The sectors in the Stage 1 / 3 zone (Neutral – 40% to 60% range) increased from 7 to 8, and the number of sectors in the Stage 4 zone (Weak – below 40%) decreased from 2 to Zero.
