It's pulling back to test the breakout level intraday, so I'm looking for a strong close above the breakout level to help confirm the potential continuation move. Attached is the charts.

this one is also at a 10 year high...so definitely a little more attractive

Shame you didn't see the post when I highlighted it, as was just at the breakout level. 6.5% higher now unfortunately, but might pullback a bit.

I am dying for a spot to get back in on IDRA. Would love to see it drop down into the $3.50-$4 range in the next 1-2 weeks so I could jump back in.

Hey Theory, I am not sure if it will go below 4 (if that). Based on the price action and volume, I think this stock is being heavily accumulated. IMO, Over 50% of the float is gone and it can move very fast in a short period of time. Good Luck man.

Yes I am definitely going to be keeping an eye on this thread! I am reviewing trades from the past year as I am getting ready to prepare my tax returns, and am taking note of good and bad trades. A handful of times I have turned winning trades into losing ones. I would get in at the appropriate time, but then the chart looked so fantastic that I added to the position too far from the breakout. Catching these early can make a huge difference.

For this one - HTCO - have you checked the sector? XTL and VOX look like ETFs representing the telecom & telecom services and appear to me to be in good shape. My brokerage has an alternative default list that often deviates from standard references. For example their Energy list will appear to be in stage 1 or 3 but XLE will be in a strong stage 2.

I scanned down their list and the charts are mixed and the list in my brokerage is definitely not strong. I did find a few others which you may have highlighted elsewhere. ETAK, KKPNY, TKAGY, and TI. Maybe not the place for this question but I am questioning the strength of the sector and what you may have looked at for sector strength.

Honestly, I haven't looked at the sectors for the stocks in here so far, as I've got to give you guys some work to do yourselves Wink

But seriously, my aim with this thread is to just highlight stocks showing a strong volume increase, with strong RS and the various patterns that we look for. Which members can then research further if the stock interests them, as I don't have enough time to do the full due diligence on each one, so think of them as just the starting point for more of your own research.

RE: US Stocks - Intraday Watchlist and Discussion

MSTX is a biotech stock which has seen huge spike in interest over the last few weeks with a new 52 week high and over 10x the average volume last week, and 4x the average the week previous. Which translates to around 4x the monthly average and also the largest monthly volume by a long way in the last 10 years.

The stock has been heavily shorted from well over 100 to below 1 - so was priced for going out of business. But this months volume surge (short covering) into a fledgling Stage 2A could see it close the month above the 30 month MA for the first time since 2006.

This is highly speculative, but I think the volume and price action warrants some further research. Attached is the weekly and monthly charts.

PAR is another interesting one today. Nice volume contraction during the recent pullback, and potential to breakout to new highs and monthly Stage 2A, weekly continuation move.

RE: Watchlist - Investor method

Single digit midgets for the watchlist - LTRX, SMTX

Another for the watchlist is CCJ, which is attempting to move into early Stage 2A above resistance.
