RE: Stan Weinstein's Stage Analysis

Looks like the Momentum Index crossed into negative territory today, in the last hour of trading sell off.  Signals all look negative to me.  The 4 month rule is not quite negative if you apply it to something like AMZN or AAPL but not far off.  Just a couple weeks for AMZN.  Think I will add SPY puts.  Maybe there will be a circuit breaker type sell off coming soon.

Cumulative P&F Breakouts - Breakdowns custom Breadth charts

Attached is my updated custom breadth charts that I do based on the daily point and figure double top breakouts and double bottom breakdowns.

Totals for the week:

+85 double top breakouts
-1694 double bottom breakdowns

-1609 net breakouts - breakdowns

Note: this is by far the biggest weekly drop we've had this year, and the distance from its 20 day moving average is the furthest it's been. So seeing some extremes currently.

RE: Stan Weinstein's Stage Analysis

Attached are the updated charts of the RABWDB Indicator, Individual Phases, SP500 RABWDB, SP400 RABWDB and SP600 RABWDB.

Quick description of the indicator: Sample is the same as for the Survey (2287 stocks). Stock classification is done as per Chuck Dukas's TrendAdvisor Diamond described in his book (see attached TrendAdvisor Diamond). Stocks in bullish, accumulation and recovery phases are considered healthy and cumulatively plotted as an oscillator, same as in the Survey. Those in warning, distribution and bearish phases are considered technically unhealthy.
