Short ETFs to watch...I liked Basic Materials as one to get into now, and industrials. The US dollar and Gold look like possible shorts as well although I may just stick to the sectors and S&P.

Be mindful of the ultrashorts. Those are leveraged and move twice as much as the regular index does on the downside. What I plan to do is instead of buying $100 for example, buy $50 and then give it twice the room to move on a percentage basis. So that I don't overextend myself, I'll just set aside that other $50 in my account.

I selected these vs others based on relative strength and how close they are to their breakout.

SMN, SIJ, RXD, SSG, UDN, GLL

SDS and SH are short the S&P. SDS is the 2x leveraged option.
