RE: US Stocks - Watchlist and Discussion (Premium)
Dorsey Wrights Technical Attributes method for ranking stocks is very similar to Stage Analysis methods and so I thought it would be interesting to have a look at some of the technical leaders momentum portfolios that they create via the ETFs - PDP, PIZ, and PIE
The PDP is the 100 strongest stocks in the US market via their Technical Attributes ranking system. The PIZ is the 100 strongest stocks in the worlds other developed markets such as Australia, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain and Switzerland etc excluding the US. And the PIE is the 100 strongest stocks in the developing worlds markets such as Brazil, Chile, China, India, Indonesia, Philippines, South Africa, Thailand and Turkey etc.
As you can see the US technical leaders (PDP) continue in Stage 2B currently, whereas the developed markets technical leaders (PIZ) is looking decidedly weaker and is flirting with Stage 3B. The developing markets technical leaders are attempting to get going in early Stage 2, but have had a strong pullback over the last few weeks back below the 10 week MA.
