I use stockcharts.com personally, which uses the Dow Jones US S&P Sectors and Sub sectors, as I've found it to be the most reliable source, as it's kept up to date, and can be used directly on the charts for relative performance comparisons, which are necessary for a full Stage Analysis.
Go to http://stockcharts.com/freecharts/indust...SPDR#&S=PD to see the full list of S&P sectors, and if you click on the name of the sector then it will take you through to individual lists of the stocks in the sector.
Another way to see the major and sub sector is on the chart itself on stockcharts.com
Just open a chart of a stock, and tick the box that's called "Full Quote" in the settings below and it will show you the sector and subsector above the chart, as well as a bunch of other information.

I wanted to find industry information on VRNS. Upon checking using your "full quote" method, nothing is being shown. How do you check industry for those?
