RE: Stan Weinstein's Stage Analysis

i was wondering; are people making consistent money since you are using the stage analysis system? for me its a little bit early to say because im only using the system for 1 year.

I think the answer is some people, but properly I can speak only for myself.  I'm fund switching in a pension and doing OK.  In a separate SIPP I'm making a small profit.  However, in my ISA I've not been having much success and recently passed from a tiny gain to a tiny loss.  But this contrasts with the experience of some others.  Safe to say, its not a magic bullet - but magic bullets don't exist.

RE: Stan Weinstein's Stage Analysis

Thanks grbaNT !
Good reading this Sunday.
In line with ADLine's readings and other indicators (eg the S&P futures which seem to show that small speculators - not the large ones - have reduced their positions), which brings comfort at a time when price action is not very alluring.

But now the question is what will I be looking forward to on Sundays if you suddenly stop publishing your survey Wink

RE: Stan Weinstein's Stage Analysis

Attached are the updated charts of the RABWDB Indicator, Individual Phases, SP500 RABWDB, SP400 RABWDB and SP600 RABWDB.

Quick description of the indicator: Sample is the same as for the Survey (2287 stocks). Stock classification is done as per Chuck Dukas's TrendAdvisor Diamond described in his book (see attached TrendAdvisor Diamond). Stocks in bullish, accumulation and recovery phases are considered healthy and cumulatively plotted as an oscillator, same as in the Survey. Those in warning, distribution and bearish phases are considered technically unhealthy.
