For the UK watchlist from Mondays scans - ASHM.L, BDEV.L, CDM.L, CMCL.L, ECSC.L, ERGO.L, FAB.L, FTC.L, KWG.L, MMX.L, RENX.L, VEL.L, YGEN.L

The charts can be found at: UK Stocks Watchlist - 13th January 2020

For the UK watchlist from Tuesdays scans - BLTG.L, BOO.L, FEN.L, GETB.L, PTY.L, SQZ.L

A few interesting breakout stocks today, mostly from the AIM market, and some that are setting up for potential Stage 2 continuation breakout moves.

For me the most interesting chart of the day is PTY.L, as it's just under its recent highs, after breaking out into Stage 2A on stronger volume back in November and rebounding off of the 10 week MA this week. So I have set an alert at 10.5 to see when it gets a close above it.

The charts can be found at: UK Stocks Watchlist - 14th January 2020

Yep, it's a custom scan looking for stocks up to 5% below their 52 week high, with closing price below the 52 week high from 4 weeks ago, and up to a maximum of 2x the 52 week ATR above the 10 week MA.

So the idea is that it's looking for stocks in Stage 2 consolidating for at least 4 weeks near their 52 week highs, but not too extended from the 10 week MA. So in a tradable position in terms of risk if it breaks out.

Here's the code:

Code:
TIMEFRAME(Weekly)
hh = highest[52](high)
// 52 week ATR
A = AverageTrueRange[52](close)

// Close
B = Close

// 10 week MA
C = Average[10](close)

D = B - C

E = D / A

c1 = E < 2 AND E > 0 AND Average[10](close) > Average[10](close[1])

c2 = close/hh>=0.95
c3 = close/hh<=1
c4 = close<=hh[4]

screener[c1 and c2 and c3 and c4](E AS "ATR Distance")

Hi everyone,

apologies as I have been meeting to post this chart for a few weeks now as it was itching to breakout which it has done this week, and on good volume too.

It is probably worth pointing out that it is a junior gold miner and IsaTrader has posted a chart today on the US breakout thread for thr GDXJ, which shows a potential stage 2 breakout continuation.
